Since opening a showroom in 2003, Nicely Done Kitchens has been a licensed and insured General Contractor providing kitchen and bath remodeling in Northern Virginia. Nicely Done Kitchens is a proud member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the American Society of Interior Designs (ASID), the SEN Design Group (SEN), the National Association of Remodeling Industry (NARI), and the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

James O’Malley, President
With a focus on operational performance and customer service, James O’Malley brings strong operational, financial, and logistical expertise to the NDK team with experience across a wide variety of industries. Prior to joining Nicely Done Kitchens, James served as a Submarine Officer in the United States Navy and worked as a financial consulting advisor with a focus on transportation & logistics at Harris Williams in Richmond, VA.
James earned an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. While at Darden, James served as the President of the Darden Military Association. James earned a B.S. in Economics from the United States Naval Academy.

Evelyn Nicely, Founder
Always maintaining one eye on quality and the other on the beauty of your space, Evelyn Nicely has been improving the surroundings of valued clients for years as one of the top remodeling experts. She attended Cal State Northridge and completed her interior design requirements before transferring to the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where she earned her degree in Architecture in 1991. Evelyn was awarded the prestigious “Rising Star of 2005” within the industry.
She was a top designer at several firms before Evelyn and her husband, Kip (graduate of the US Naval Academy), decided to open their own Springfield, VA, kitchen and bath design and remodeling firm bearing their name in 2003.
