when brothers Harold, Herb, and Miles Johnson
started a wood milling business in Rice Lake,
Wisconsin. The Post-war building boom meant
plentiful work for skilled craftsmen, yet the
Johnson brothers wanted to set their standard to
custom designed wood products and three
fundamental values: honesty, hard word, and
quality. As their reputation for excellence
grew, so did their products and company. The
